The Doha Metro is a rapid transit system currently under construction in Doha, Qatar's capital city. The first line, (Red line), commenced commercial operation on 08 May 2019 and the Green and Gold lines commenced commercial operation in December 2019. It will eventually have four lines with an approximate overall length of 300 km and 100 stations. 3333Capable of reaching 100km/h, the Doha Metro will be one of the fastest driverless trains in the world.
In August 2015 MHI awarded D&P a Subcontract to provide the Rolling Stock and Infrastructure Maintenance Equipment for three Depots. This includes 190-line items of equipment (detailed below) ranging from a small tool kit to a 20 stone Rail Grinder.
