This major contract for the Department of Rapid Transit Systems (DORTS) in Taiwan related to the provision of the major Rolling Stock Maintenance Equipment for the Overhaul Depot at Peitou on the Tamshui line in Taipei.
The contract was for the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and training for all heavy rolling stock maintenance equipment. The contract commenced in December 1990 and hand over was in June 1996 with completion of warranty in July 1998.
