Adtranz (Sweden) were the Main Contractor for the Adana Light Rail System project in southern Turkey. Within this main contract, Adtranz were responsible for the provision of the railway maintenance facilities.
In late 1997, Adtranz requested D&P to develop a concept depot design together with a workshop layout, a detailed equipment list and equipment functional specifications.
Following on from this study, in 1999 D&P were awarded a contract for the supply of underfloor lifting equipment, mobile jacks, turntables and a bogie lifting and turning device. (Please see our Turnkey Contracts Case Studies page for details of this project.)
